Various impacts of climate change affect women ranging from food crises, and health and clean water sanitation, to migration and conflict, socioeconomics, and vulnerability to gender-based violence.

Women in Papua, with all its opportunities and challenges, are the main subjects in nation-building and important pillars in the sustainability of the future. They are not at the forefront but play a role in determining the lives of generations. Cultural construction has not placed women in the work spaces but women are the directors of every meaning of the story. When women are silent, it does not mean that they are fine but they are struggling so that they are strong to support others.
