PAINTINGS BY INDONESIAN CHILDREN ENLIVEN PRE-TIGER SUMMIT
Bali (14/07)-Paintings by Indonesian children at the age of 9-12 years old from Global Art were displayed at Pre-Tiger Summit which was conducted from 12 July to 14 Juli 2010. At the same event, paintings of Indian children were also exhibited. Those paintings carried strong conservation message regarding tiger to support Pre-tiger Summit which was attended by government officials from the 13 tiger range countries (TRCs).
The Bali meeting is expected to produce a draft Global Tiger Recovery Programme and a “Leaders Declaration” which will be discussed at the Tiger Summit in Russia.
