In 2009, GFTN-Indonesia has gained more members, both ""Trade Participant"" and ""Forest Participant."" The pencil slat producer from Palembang, SOuth Sumatra PT Indo Bagus Slat (IBS) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WF to join GFTN-Indonesia. IBS has previously atatined FSC CoC from LGA Inter Cert. New Trade participants of GFTN-Indonesia are the indoor wooden furniture producer PT Integra Indocabinet (Integra) and two companies under SIMA Furniture Group, PT Palunesia Makmur (PLM) and PT Sinarindo Megantara (Sinarindo).
While from Forest Participant group, PT Suka Jaya Makmur (SJM) in West Kalimantan and PT Inhutani Simendurut Unit, a part of forest management Tarakan unit, east Kalimantan showed its commitment to promoting sustainable forest management practice in Indonesi by joining GFTN-Indonesia. Some new members joining GFTN Internasional are alos highlighted in the Kaleidoskop. They are a leading manufacturer of food processing and pacakging solutions Terta Pak Inc. joining NA-FTN and world's largest producers of tissue products Kimberly-Clark Corporation joining WWF's GFTN.
