Vero graduated from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in 2013 with a degree in Marine Science and Technology. Previously, in 2012, Vero began her career as an Assistant of Marine Science and Technology Training Course IPB in collaboration with DAAD. Then in February-June 2014, joined as a GIS Assistant for WWF-Indonesia Participatory Mapping Inner Banda Arc Program.
In 2015, Vero rejoined WWF-Indonesia as a Community Right Based Management Officer in Kei Kecil Office, Southeast Maluku, responsible for institutional strengthening of local and indigenous communities, strengthening the capacity and local rights of local communities; ensuring the collaboration of local, indigenous, and government communities in conducting marine conservation management activities in the Inner Banda Arc Sub Seascape.
For the Southwest Maluku Expedition, Vero served as a member of the Social Team, both for mapping and fisheries surveys.
