Nara is a Program Monitoring Officer for WWF Indonesia's Coral Triangle Directorate. She had the opportunity to study her undergraduate degree in New Zealand majoring in Marine Biology and spent time as a volunteer with WWF-New Zealand during her studies. After completing her studies, Nara returned to Indonesia and joined WWF-Indonesia as an intern. Shortly after, Nara continued her post-graduate studies in Environmental Science, Policy and Management (MESPOM) after receiving a scholarship from the European Union Erasmus Mundus Program.
After officially becoming a WWF-Indonesia staff, Nara was responsible for ensuring the achievement and quality of the reports and achievements of the field and national teams. She was also involved in the establishment of the Sunda Banda Seascape Marine Protected Area Network, by conducting a literature study on this area, involved in a socio-economic rapid survey in Kei in 2013, and involved in coral reef observation expeditions in Alor and East Flores.
In the Southwest Maluku Expedition, Nara was responsible as Social Team Leader.
