Damora graduated from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in 2010, specializing in Fisheries Biology. After that, Damora began his career as a research assistant at the Marine Fisheries Research Center of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Research and Development Agency (Balitang KKP). From 2014 until now, Damora joined WWF-Indonesia as a Fisheries Science Officer, responsible for strengthening the collection and reporting of fisheries scientific data, including the provision of literature for all WWF-Indonesia staff on fisheries issues.

Since she was in college, Damora has been actively writing scientific studies and often won several competitions, both at the campus and national levels. Currently, in between his busy work with WWF-Indonesia, Damora is completing his final assignment for postgraduate education for Coastal and Marine Resource Management at IPB.

In the Southwest Maluku Expedition, Damora will serve as the Social Fisheries Team Leader.
