Jakarta (20/7) – In respond to the current development of ‘fencing’ in Ujung Kulon National Park, WWF calls to halt the development and to review such plan. WWF believes that development of facilities for Javan Rhino Sanctuary (JRS) should be halted until comprehensive plan of construction is formally finalized, involving consultation with government, local community, experts, and related NGOs, and considering to the result of ERA (Ecological Risk Assessment) as the basis of development.
