Usually, Panda Mobile visits schools and does activities with students and teachers. However, Panda Mobile has also visited a number of shopping centers in the cities of Depok and Bogor. On Saturday (21/03), Panda Mobile visited Depok Town Square in Depok, West Java. Panda Mobile's presence in this shopping center was carried out in the framework of the "Environmental Class" with the Earth Hour Depok Community.
The activity, which was attended by around 30 participants, was filled with presentations about WWF-Indonesia and Panda Mobile. The participants also participated in a 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) workshop, making shopping bags from used t-shirts. Panda Mobile's presence attracted the attention of visitors to the mall. Many people passing by the "Environmental Class" area stopped because they were interested in the activities presented by the Panda Mobile team. They considered that this activity was very useful for the community because there was still a lack of knowledge about processing used goods.
A week later, Panda Mobile visited the Giant shopping center located in Bojong Kulur, Bogor. On Sunday (29/3) morning, Panda Mobile enlivened the "Green Environment" event held by the Bogor Regional Government in order to provide environmental education to orphans around Bojong Kulur.
The event started with a coloring competition, then listening to a story told by Kak Ryan. Although the sun was shining brightly, the participants were still enthusiastic about the event. They listened to the whole story. The activity, which lasted until 10.00 WIB, was closed with the distribution of various prizes by the organizers and attractive merchandise from the Panda Mobile team.
In addition to the shopping center, Panda Mobile also visited the Army Unit Housing Complex (Kostrad) in Cilodong, Depok, on (08/04). Panda Mobile attended the activity with the theme "Love the Earth, Care for the Earth". This activity was initiated by Al Fikr Kindergarten Depok, which made gatherings and competitions with participants from various other kindergartens around Depok.
Several exciting activities colored this event, including running races, planting green plants, feeding animals, and others. During the event, many participants visited the Panda Mobile truck. They took pictures, played with dolls, and read books in the Panda Mobile truck. Through this activity, it is hoped that an attitude of loving the environment will grow from an early age.
