PANDA MOBILE INTRODUCES ENDANGERED ANIMALS TO KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
By: Ryza Hanifa (Volunteer Panda Mobile)
After the truck was opened and tidied up, the students were introduced to WWF-Indonesia's volunteers. Then they were invited to listen to a story told by Kak Ryan. This time, Kak Ryan told a story about an orangutan cub who lost his mother and was then helped by a tiger who brought him to the WWF office. The students listened to the story carefully. The way Kak Ryan played the guitar and sang songs while playing hand puppets made the children happy.
After the fairy tale session with Kak Ryan, the students were divided into several groups that would take turns doing movie watching and games. The first group (Kindergarten B) watched the movie "Animal Planet" and "Tiger Hunter" with the hope that they would get an overview of the lives of endangered animals and be motivated to protect the forest and the environment they live in.
At the same time, the playgroup and Kindergarten A students participated in Ciki-Caka and Wind Blowing games. They also did coloring activities on the theme of umbrella animals. The activity, which was attended by 89 participants, ended with a group photo in front of the Panda Mobile truck.
