It’s almost a year that Panda CLICK! the community photography program supporting 30 local photographers from 4 villages in Kapuas Hulu District, West Kalimantan. Photo and video cameras are provided for all groups of full-time program starting from February 2010 to March 2011.
CLICK! stands for Communication Learning towards Innovative Change and Knowledge. This program seeks to bridge the communication and aspirations of the community through photography and to encourage the emergence of positive changes that benefit the community and natural surroundings.
From October 2010, this program has collected more than 20,000 photos. Panda CLICK! is like an amplifier of the community voices from Teluk Aur Village, Empangau Village, Meliau Village and Kelawik Village, behind the dense forests of Borneo, whose livelihood is highly dependent to its natural resources.
