Human lifestyle and the way we consume, use fuel and finance the economic movements that sustain our lives have pushed nature to the brink of destruction, according to the Living Planet Report 2018.
The biggest drivers of biodiversity loss today are overexploitation and agriculture, both linked to growing human consumption. Massive human consumption is increasingly undermining nature's ability to sustain and sustain our lives, both social and economic lives globally.
"Earth, a planet that has unknowingly provided many benefits to humans. Many agricultural activities that have provided food intake for 6 billion people on earth have turned out to pose a great threat to the future of the earth. As consumers, we can choose environmentally friendly products to contribute to efforts to save our planet, "said Lukas Adhyakso.
