FUN REFLECTIONS OF PANDA MOBILE VOLUNTEER BATCH 4 AND SPECIAL SURPRISE FROM WWF-INDONESIA
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the WWF-Indonesia team held a reflection agenda, or you could say "reunion" with Volunteer Panda Mobile Batch 4 regarding school visit activities for the past 4 months. We came with mixed feelings, because we are still passive volunteers who have never participated in schools. We felt left behind and felt a little awkward at the beginning because our fellow volunteers had a lot of experience in the field. But that's what made us feel like we belonged.
Welcomed by our fellow volunteers and WWF brothers and sisters with warm smiles. We realized that this was not just an agenda, but also about relationships, and to understand each other's journey in depth. A story from Uncle Gery opened the Reflection activity, through the story of a stone breaker. Uncle Gery advised us to continue to be enthusiastic and consistent, because every effort we make is the best form of contribution that can have a positive impact, although often the results are not immediately visible.

After getting motivation from Uncle Gery and sharing with friends, we felt moved to actively contribute to Panda Mobile activities. We are not down yet, but we can still start from the basics in our daily lives. Learning a lot from WWF's content, programs such as Zero Waste School, Plastic SmartCities, MoNa (Members of Nature), and other programs, as well as preparing ourselves for further action.
WWF-Indonesia also gave appreciation to the 3 best volunteers for the past 5 months, namely Kak Laras, Kak Azril, and Kak Savira. They are very deserving because of their active participation in the Panda Mobile schedules. We are happy that they told us about their experience in attending many schools and other activities that the Panda Mobile team has visited. Congratulations! We see it as not only an award, but also a reminder from WWF-Indonesia that consistency and commitment are important. The moment also keeps us motivated and moving small steps for big impact. Their presence made the atmosphere more lively and colorful. We played a squirrel-tree game with Superkidz, which aims to build togetherness between the volunteers and Superkidz. The fun did not stop there, after playing, we were invited to guide Superkidz to make handicrafts from leaves in the form of simple crowns as a form of self-reward for the work of the book they managed to write until it was finally released and can be read by many people.

After the materials were collected, we helped and supervised the Superkids to assemble and decorate their crowns, making sure the children were not hurt since there were some tools, such as scissors and paperclips. We really enjoyed the moment because this meaningful simplicity made us all realize that nature is not just a background but a part of creativity. When we assisted the Superkidz children, the day felt more cheerful and exciting. We also learned to assist without judgment so that the children could be freer in their creativity. We try to make the atmosphere of learning to love the environment in a fun way through a sense of care for the environment.
In the end, this reflection made us dare to be honest with ourselves that communication through discussion to understand and remind each other is necessary. We got closer to our fellow volunteers and went home with a clear mind. This agenda can also be said to be in line with the commemoration of World Children's Day and World Tree Day, which feels more aware and more exciting. We want to translate the energy of the day into action. We all need to keep that spirit alive through the things we can do now, from small steps, but with a tremendous impact on people and the environment from now to the future.
