FISHINGTOWN: HERE'S HOW TO FISH PROPERLY
In the real world, an angler will know that his bait is being taken away by a fish when the reel of the fishing rod squeaks loudly and the string stretches. The angler will usually wait for the fish to slow down before starting to move the rod up and down while turning the reel crank to pull the fish closer. Anglers should be careful if the fish fights back while the string is taut, as the string may break. Anglers will also not allow the fish to swim and stretch the string too far as the fish could get loose.
Fishing is indeed a hobby with its own excitement, but sometimes time, weather and place constraints make it difficult for us to do so, is there a way to enjoy the fun of fishing without having to leave the house? Immediately download the Fishing Town game application through your Android-based smartphone or tablet, Fishing Town invites you to adventure with Lukas, a boy who likes to catch fish in various exotic fishing locations in Indonesia, including his efforts to defeat a giant-sized legendary fish named Bahamut.
The game begins when the screen shows Lukas on a boat, while below him is the sea with fish swimming here and there. The player needs to tap the screen to make Lukas throw the hook into the sea. Afterward, in order for the bait to be approached by the swimming fish, the bait must be moved by touching the screen at the bottom of the sea where the fish are swimming. As soon as a fish approaches the bait, the player must immediately touch the small blue circle that appears for the fish to eat the bait. This is where the fun begins.
In Fishing Town, the fishing techniques used are more or less the same as those practiced in the real world. However, the appearance of the tools is different. When the fish starts to fight, there is a long bar on the left of the screen, with an arrowhead that moves up and down according to the movement of the player's finger. When the player's finger presses the "hold" button at the bottom of the screen long enough, the arrow will move upwards, and it sounds like a reel crank being turned to pull the fish closer. But players should be careful not to move the arrow until it points at the top of the bar, as that means the string is too tense. The string could break and the fish could escape.
Players can hold the arrow in place by tapping the "hold" button many times with quick movements. Meanwhile, the captured fish will continue to put up a fight. When the fish resists strongly, it will make the arrowhead move downward, similar to when a fish swims away and makes the string stretch. When this happens, the player should hurriedly tapping the "hold" button to make the arrow move back up. Players should not let the arrow point at the bottom bar as this means the string is stretched too far and the fish will come loose.
While the player's fingers are busy controlling the arrow's movement, the player's eyes should be on the bar at the top of the screen. The species name of the fish caught is written at the top of the bar, while the fish category is written below it, such as: common, myth, legendary. When a fish is first caught, the bar indicating the fish's energy level is fully charged and green in color. But the longer the fish fights, the bar becomes empty, indicating that the fish's energy has been sucked out. That's when the fish is lifted into the boat.
