Internship at WWF Indonesia WWF-Indonesia’s internship program vision is to facilitate youths early in their career readiness who bring fresh thinking and innovation to the environmental and conservation sector and are well positioned to develop into the next generation of leaders. Our mission is to increase exposure of students/fresh graduates from underrepresented populations to conservation and environmental careers, provide professional development opportunities, reduce the barriers to attracting a diverse pool of internship candidates, and develop a pipeline for future WWF-Indonesia hires from underrepresented populations.

Major Function

Are you a student or recent graduate interested in technology, communication, and business processes? As an ICT intern, you will have the chance to support the WWF-Indonesia’s ICT team by helping them in familiarizing themselves with new technologies by creating user friendly content and holding coaching clinics. You will also have an exciting opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other WWF offices across the globe. 

Major Responsibility

Business Support:

• Analyse the gap between user behaviors and culture with the technology
• Identify the actual challenges that need to be addressed
• Find out how technology could help the actual business case

Content Creation:

• Write clear, concise, and engaging articles or updates about ICT projects and system changes for end-users.
• Create basic user guides, FAQs, training materials, and tutorials to help colleagues understand new tools or processes. 
• Assist in preparing ICT governance documents, ensuring clarity, structure, and alignment with organizational standards.

SharePoint Learning and Support: 

• Learn to use and build SharePoint Online sites with training and supervision. 
• Help update and organize SharePoint content for better user accessibility.

Collaboration: 

• Hold coaching clinics and training as needed. 
• Work with the ICT team and other departments to support communication and project activities. 
• Assist in user engagement efforts to ensure smooth adoption of ICT updates.
• Performs other related duties as needed to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the team.

Required Qualification & Skills

Education:

Have a bachelor's degree in any discipline or are currently seeking one.

Skills & Competencies: 

• Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, especially SharePoint and Office 365 suites. 
• Basic organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Familiar with Office 365. 
• Familiarity with Figma is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

• Extrovert who enjoys helping others how to use technology.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction.
• Interest in technology and improving user experiences.
• Can write and speak English very well.
