On Sunday (21/10), WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile had the opportunity to enliven the grand reunion of the National University Alumni (UNAS) in Pejaten Barat, Pasar Minggu. In addition to alumni, the event was also attended by alumni family members, including children. Panda Mobile introduced WWF-Indonesia and provided education about the environment to the children present.
WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile team invited the children to color pictures of animals that are the focus of WWF-Indonesia's conservation work. The Panda Mobile volunteers then explained to them about some endangered animals. In addition to coloring, the children also watched the movie "Jungle Forever" which tells about the threat of animal poaching. Watching the movie is expected to increase the spirit of concern for animals. "Sis, why are there orangutans in the forest?" asked Dani, one of the children to Panda Mobile volunteer. "Orangutans play a role in maintaining the balance of nature by helping to spread tree seeds in nature," replied Kiki, one of Panda Mobile's volunteers.
UNAS alumni and their families were very enthusiastic about visiting and participating in the activities organized by Panda Mobile. Some parents even accompanied their children on the Panda Mobile truck. They were very supportive and happy that their children were introduced to environmental awareness. They hope that their children will one day become humans who are beneficial to this Earth. "With Panda Mobile, my child knows more about the importance of protecting the environment and the existence of animals," said Ami, an alumnus of National University.
