Thursday (31/05), WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile visited SMA Tarakanita Gading Serpong, Tangerang to enliven the "Animal Diversity Exhibition 2018". The presence of Panda Mobile was welcomed by students and teachers who had lined up neatly on the school field. When the "Animal Diversity Exhibition 2018"opened, the Panda Mobile team was garlanded by the teachers. The event committee performed a dance in front of the students and teachers as an expression of welcome.
After the opening ceremony, the students went straight to the designated classes to follow the activities that had been prepared by the WWF-Indonesia Mobile Panda team. There were three classes for activities about the introduction of WWF and water conservation. All were divided equally from science and social studies classes. The event was even more crowded because SMA Tarakanita Gading Serpong also invited students from SMA Tarakanita Citra Raya, Tangerang.
The introduction of WWF and water conservation activities began at 08.00-09.00 WIB for the first session, followed by 10.00-11.00 WIB for the second session. The students were so enthusiastic about the activity. Many students asked about the condition of water. After getting information about the importance of water, the students watched a video entitled "River for All" which showed the condition of the river in Rimbang Baling. After watching this video, the students were inspired to use water wisely as much as possible.
In addition to the education about water conservation by WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile, the "Animal Diversity Exhibition 2018" event was also enlivened with biodiversity booths made by students in an interesting and creative way. Each booth presented information about different animals. WWF also opened a booth on water conservation. A set of water laboratory equipment owned by Panda Mobile was prepared so that students could test the quality of water around them. The atmosphere was even more lively when Tarakanita Junior High School students also visited the biodiversity exhibition. The "Animal Diversity Exhibition 2018" event was closed by giving a memento to the Panda Mobile team.
