Panda Mobile, WWF-Indonesia's environmental education truck, was showcased at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) which took place from September 18-28, 2014 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Located at the HINO Motor Indonesia booth, the 6-wheeled truck showcase attracted the attention of a number of visitors to this international motor vehicle products exhibition. In fact, a foreign national from Hong Kong expressed his admiration for the concept of creating Panda Mobile.

On every weekend, Panda Mobile is not just showcasing its advantages and facilities. Volunteers are present there and invite children in the exhibition area to learn about the environment while playing. Last Saturday (20/9), Ryan gave a storytelling session. He told an interesting story about using public transportation. His storytelling style seemed to bewitch the small audience to sit still near the Panda Mobile which had turned into a stage.

After the storytelling session, the children were invited to color and be creative in turning used items into useful items. The 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycling) activity was very popular with the children.

"I've known Panda Mobile before," said a child who admitted that his school had been visited by Panda Mobile. "I brought my papa here." She continued with her 3R activities, while her father visited the nearby car booths.

Activities at Panda Mobile will still be going on in the last week of IIMS 2014. If you're planning to visit the motor show, don't forget to bring your kids and stop by the HINO Motor Indonesia booth, where the Panda Mobile educational truck is on display.
