The 6th grade elementary school students delivered environmental education to their classmates. Then the Panda Mobile team supported by watching movies and educational games.
One by one in turn, each class came to take part in a series of Panda Mobile activities. The first group was invited to climb onto the Panda Mobile truck to watch the movies "Quartet at the Crossroads" and "Tiger Hunter". After watching the movie, the students were given an explanation of the umbrella animals that are the main focus of WWF-Indonesia's conservation, including Sumatran Elephants, Sumatran Tigers, Javan Rhinos, Orangutans, sea turtles, and whale sharks.
After watching the movie, the students were invited to play "Jelajah Papua" and "Engklek Harimau". Accompanied by Panda Mobile volunteers, the students got to know more about the endemic animals in Papua. They also got to know the Sumatran Tiger as one of the charismatic animals that is protected.
The short activity was warmly welcomed by the students. They were very enthusiastic and happy with the Panda Mobile activity. The 6th grade students who organized the environmental project were also happy that what they did could be supported by Panda Mobile. They also hope that this is not the last time Panda Mobile comes to Global Jaya International School. "Hopefully Panda Mobile will have another opportunity to come here to provide education and invite us to protect animals and the environment," said Bela, a 6th grade student at Global Jaya International School. The activity, which was attended by around 250 students, was closed with a group photo session in front of the Panda Mobile truck.
