The “Enabling Civil Society's Contribution to Prosperous, Fair and Sustainable Development in Energy Transition and Sustainable Land Use” Project aims to mainstream and strengthen civil society organizations at the national and sub-national levels so that they can play a significant role in the processes of formulating energy transition and sustainable land use policies, along with its implementation at the field level.

"Catalyzing Just Energy Transition through Biodiversity Safeguard Pilot in Koto Panjang Hydropower Plant, Riau" project will support civil society organizations in several important aspects, such as:

- Engaging local stakeholders and communities in planning and implementation of biodiversity safeguard measures to ensure inclusiveness and local ownership.
- Supporting PLN at the site level on planning and implementation of biodiversity safeguard.
- Conducting policy advocacy to amplify the impact of the pilot.
