VETERAN ARTISTS SUPPORT THE PERFORMANCE OF "GOLDEN PATH OF LOVE - AN OFFERING OF LOVE FOR THE EARTH"
A number of veteran Indonesian artists are listed in the list of performers at the "Golden Path of Love - A Love Offering for the Earth" performance in conjunction with WWF-Indonesia's 50th Anniversary Celebration. Three of them are Ine Febriyanti, Nungki Kusumastuti, and Tio Pakusadewo. In the world of performing arts, no one doubts their abilities.
In between the last rehearsal session of the performance, Ciptanti Putri from WWF-Indonesia had the opportunity to chat with Ine Febriyanti, Nungki Kusumastuti, and Tio Pakusadewo. They revealed their respective reasons for taking the time to perform in this show, and their hopes for WWF-Indonesia in the future.

When met, Ine Febriyanti was reading the scenario. The actress who played Miss Kedjora in "Opera Primadona" in mid-2000 was reading poetry while playing one of the Fairy Godmother characters.
"Frankly, this is the first time I have come into contact with entertainment performances. I usually do theater, pure art. But because there is a mission to enlighten others to be more empathetic to the environment, I am very happy to be involved in this show. I hope my contribution can help the message get through," he said smoothly.
Ine herself is no stranger to WWF-Indonesia's activities. "Incidentally, my husband used to work for WWF several times. I think WWF is cool, because it is concerned about the preservation of nature. Nowadays, many people mistreat nature, they are greedy in exploiting nature. Hopefully, WWF's action is real in changing people's bad habits, not just ceremonial. Don't let people be impressed only by the packaging but also really directed to real nature conservation actions," said the woman who had just become one of the directors in an omnibus film about corruption.
According to Ine, the public needs to watch this performance. "I think in general, Jakartans should watch a lot of art performances to make their hearts softer. Moreover, there is a good mission to raise funds for nature conservation, which is very good. This is an art performance with good propaganda," he concluded.

Nungki Kusumastuti looks beautiful and fresh, even after a grueling rehearsal. The lecturer at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts' Faculty of Performing Arts apparently has an extraordinary reason for her involvement in the 'Golden Path of Love - A Love Offering for the Earth' performance.
"This is my contribution and support in preserving and protecting Indonesia's nature. Also because WWF-Indonesia wants to convey its conservation messages in the form of art, I as an artist support wholeheartedly," he replied when asked why he was performing.
"I play the role of Mother Earth who is supposed to protect the universe. I will act and do a little dance, interacting with the Fairy Godmothers," explained the former dancer at the State Palace who is good at acting.
When asked why people should watch this colossal performance, the actor who played Fitria in the phenomenal movie 'Perempuan Dalam Pasungan' stated that there are many good philosophies contained in it. "There is a message to protect the universe because our lives will be very dry and very poor if we ignore nature. Our humanity becomes whole if we can protect the universe. That is the essence of WWF-Indonesia's message that needs to be heard by the audience and organized in the show," he said. ""What is more unique, the audience will become part of the show. The audience will be the ones who will take good care of their environment," Nungki concluded.

Although he will perform the prologue with Inayah Wahid at the beginning of the performance, Tio Pakusadewo was placed at the end of the rehearsal. The man whose full name is Irwan Susetyo Pakusadewo, who started his cinematography career by starring in Garin Nugroho's film, "Cinta Dalam Sepotong Roti", looked serious about his scenario.
"I consider WWF-Indonesia to be part of what I also strive for, which is to preserve Indonesia's natural environment. For me, I strive for culture. It will not be possible to create beautiful traditions and culture that can be enjoyed for all time if the environment is destroyed. So, it's a match made in heaven," said the Citra Cup winner for Best Male Actor at the 1991 and 2009 Indonesian Film Festivals, explaining his interest in participating in the "Golden Path of Love - An Offering of Love for the Earth" performance.
"I hope WWF-Indonesia continues to actively synergize with commercial alliances in its programs so that its work is sustainable with more hope. The struggle must indeed begin and continue. In the future, I hope WWF-Indonesia can be more professional," said Tio in response to WWF-Indonesia's achievements during its 50 years of activities in Indonesia.
