This 1st Edition Newsletter brings up the regreening activity in upper course of Sebangau in Highlight coloumn. An area of 250 Ha has been planted by WWF-Indonesia. Regreening has shown the success level to 87 % in upper course of Sebangau. Besides regreening activity, it also features articles about diagnostic survey conducted by WWF-Indonesia to know the awareness level and perception on sustainability conservation in Sebangau.

Other activities for instance canal blocking construction in SSI (Sebangau Sinatra Indah) of 5.5 km canal, Bakung river, Rasau, and lower river of Sebangau, women's skill empowerment effort through training, and eco edutainment conducted in several schools in Sebangau are also reported in the Newsletter.
