KEPIK: ACTION OF YOUGSTERS
KEPIK, short for Indonesian Creative Leader Class, is one of Earth Hour Indonesia's campaign actions that contributes to the self-development of young people so that they can quickly respond to environmental issues and independently contribute directly. The actions include lifestyle changes, sharing knowledge with friends and coworkers, or bringing bigger changes to the public sphere. Through this collaboration between WWF Indonesia and Earth Hour Indonesia Community, it is hoped that young people will have a platform to continue to be empowered and take action in saving the environment.
The plan is for the activity to take place every Saturday. In the first round, KEPIK invites all young people in Jakarta aged 18-35 years old to participate in 5 classes with interesting topics, including Community Building and Creative Campaign Class, Mass Media Campaign Class, Campaign Tips through Photos and Videos Class, Marketing Strategy Class for Social Entrepreneurs, and Class Yuk! Online Campaign. Each class is limited to 50 people only.
Speakers for each class include Israr Ardiansyah from Komunitas Indonesia Mengajar and Titi Akmar from Inmark Digital, as well as lecturers from the School of Media and Communication, Binus International.
There is no charge to attend this event, a collaboration between WWF Indonesia and Earth Hour Indonesia Community. Click here to learn more about the KEPIK program. If interested, please fill out the form that can be uploaded here, and send it immediately to earthhourindonesia@gmail.com.
