GET TO KNOW ENDANGERED ANIMALS WITH PANDA MOBILE

Kinderland Bonavista is one of the schools in South Jakarta visited by WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile team. Precisely on Tuesday (04/04), the Panda Mobile team had the opportunity to conduct activities at the school with the mission of providing education to students about endangered animals in Indonesia.
Despite being present without a truck, the Panda Mobile team was still greeted hysterically by the students. With WWF-Indonesia Panda puppets and banners, the Panda Mobile team became the center of attention at the school. "The bumpy contour of the schoolyard made it impossible to bring the Panda Mobile truck to the school. But we still bring Panda Mobile's signature content," explained Pratama Aditya, Coordinator of Panda Mobile.
The students who had been waiting immediately greeted one of Panda Mobile's volunteers who greeted them with Panda Mobile's signature 'Hei-Ho' greeting. Anjani, one of the Panda Mobile volunteers, then gave an explanation about WWF and its history as well as the endangered animals in Indonesia.
Next, Kak Ryan started storytelling to the children. With a guitar and puppets, Kak Ryan was in action. The students' attention was immediately drawn to the story told by Kak Ryan, which was about an orangutan cub that lost its mother due to poaching. The orangutan cub was then helped by a kind tiger to be rescued by WWF-Indonesia.
After listening to the story, the students were divided into three groups to participate in activities available at several posts. The first post was a movie watching post that played the movies "Tiger Hunter", "The World Where We Live", and "Animal Planet". In the second post, the students were invited to join the "Water for Elephant" game. In this game, they had to roll the dice to reach the goal of the elephant. The last station was the coloring station. The students were invited to recognize six umbrella animals that are the focus of WWF-Indonesia conservation, namely Sumatran Tiger, Javan Rhino, Sumatran Elephant, orangutan, turtle, and whale shark through coloring activities. They colored the pictures of these animals with full concentration.
In turn, the students visited each post. Interesting prizes were given to students who were able to answer questions. "The activity is good, interactive too. But unfortunately, the Panda Mobile truck could not come. Maybe next year we will find a place, so it will be even more exciting," said Ina, one of the teachers at Kinderland Bonavista.
