Forests play an important role for life on earth. They help keep our climate stable, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Forests regulate our water supply and improve its quality. Forests also provide a home for more than half of all terrestrial species and harbor a rich biodiversity that is the lifeblood of local communities.

In response to the urgent need for forest conservation, Pigeon shares the same vision of leaving a rich Earth for future babies to be born. Pigeon and WWF partnered together to support forest rehabilitation efforts in Muaro Sungai Lolo, West Sumatra Province and raise awareness of forest conservation.

This partnership focuses on three things, namely forest rehabilitation through the NEWtrees program, capacity building through sustainable livelihood workshops for local farmer groups, and education about the importance of forests and biodiversity.
