Tika is a Bachelor of Fisheries with a specialization in Aquatic Resources Management, at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science - Sam Ratulangi University. Tika first joined as Surveillance and Monitoring Officer WWF-Indonesia Teluk Cenderawasih Project, from 2009 to 2012.

Tika then served as Fisheries Monintoring Officer Southern Eastern Sulawesi, with the responsibility of providing up-to-date data collection, and processing data required to support program implementation related to fisheries issues. In addition, she also consulted with relevant parties on a regular basis, forming and fostering good relationships with fisheries businesses, communities and government, to run campaigns and advocate for responsible and sustainable fisheries management policies.
