Jan Manuputty is a Bachelor of Fisheries majoring in Resource Management at UNPATTI in 1987. Jan started his career at WWF-Indonesia in 2000 as a consultant, then continued his career in conservation by joining Reef Check Indonesia Foundation in 2005. In 2008, Jan joined WWF-Indonesia as a staff in Papua. In 2011, he was appointed as Project Leader located in Kei Kecil Islands, Southeast Maluku.
Currently, Jan serves as the Sunda Banda Seascape (SBS) Marine Technical Support Coordinator responsible for technical support and coordination at all MPA project sites so as to effectively support project objectives and strengthen the Coral Triangle Program in SBS, including in XPDCSULTRA activities.
Jan shared information and shared learning within SBS team members and Coral Triangle team; supported the development of baseline marine policy data for various MPAs; supported and coordinated marine data and technical issues at EAFM project sites, in accordance with project objectives and strengthened blue economy, complete with fisheries baseline data.
