Hakim Miftakhul Huda is a graduate of Bachelor of Fisheries Socio-Economics, Brawijaya University, Malang. Since 2008 until now, Hakim has worked at the Marine and Fisheries Research and Development Agency, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (BalitbangKP KKP).

In 2015, Hakim successfully completed his post-graduate education in Regional and Rural Development Planning at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Until now, Hakim is still listed as a young researcher in the field of fisheries socio-economics at Balitbang KKP. Various researches have been conducted by the man born in Trenggalek 31 years ago, such as related to the management of marine and inland fisheries resources and their dynamics; management of Marine Protected Areas; and Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated (IUU) Fishing.

Hakim is one of the Social Team members of the Southwest Maluku Expedition, who will assist the Social Team in data collection regarding the profile of the survey target villages.
