#XPDCALORFLOTIM: Khaifin

Khaifin, Biodiversity Monitoring Coordinator for Lesser Sunda Subseascape, WWF-Indonesia since 2014, based in Kupang. He leads the technical implementation of #XPDCALORFLOTIM as the ship's manager. Khaifin is a 2005 graduate of Diponegoro University Marine Science with a specialization in Coral Fish Ecology.
In 2003, Khaifin started his career as a Biology Monitoring Officer at Taka Foundation. In 2006, he joined PT Autore Pearl Culture in Mataram as a Scientific Diver. In 2007, he joined WWF-Indonesia Solor-Alor Project as a Monitoring and Surveillance Officer.
Now, as the Biodiversity Monitoring Coordinator, Khaifin is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the WWF-Indonesia Coral Triangle Program's Biodiversity Monitoring program in the Lesser Sunda Sub-seascape (LSS) region in line with the Program's Strategic Plan at the national and international levels.
Khaifin also provides technical support to various related parties, namely the Regency Government, Provincial Government, tourism industry, universities, and community groups in order to collect monitoring and survey data, as well as data analysis to support conservation area management efforts in the Lesser Sunda region.
