#XPDCALORFLOTIM: Christian Novia Ngesti Handayani

Novia is the Chairperson of #XPDCALORFLOTIM who leads the implementation of the expedition. She graduated from Marine Science Diponegoro University (1999) and Gadjah Mada University (2005) with a specialization in Remote Sensing. Prior to joining WWF-Indonesia, Nope, her nickname, was a Data Analyst at PT Central Pertiwi Bahari Lampung (2000-2003) and GIS Specialist at Marine Aquarium Council (MAMTI Project) in 2006.
In 2009, Nope joined WWF-Indonesia as GIS Specialist for Marine Program in Sorong. Until November 2011, she was transferred to Jakarta to assist the Marine Program nationwide. Currently, Nope serves as the Marine Spatial Planning and Monitoring Senior Officer under the Marine Conservation Science division.
Nope strengthens the Coral Triangle team in the area of marine spatial planning; assists in capacity building of CT staff in the area of spatial planning; ensures that spatial data collected is documented, updated and stored properly; and provides monitoring tools to support the achievement of WWF-Indonesia's Coral Triangle program targets.
