"Indonesia's nature continues to require attention and real efforts in overcoming the degradation of environmental quality due to population pressure and commercial economic exploitation that forgets the elements of sustainability and the principle of long-term benefits," said Efransjah.
In response to the grandeur of the colossal art performance as the culmination of the "Golden Path of Love - Love Offering for the Earth" celebration, Efransjah said that the event was an expression of gratitude and love offering for nature and society, which was accompanied by fundraising to help WWF's conservation programs in Indonesia. "We are here because of the support from various parties," he said.
The choice of TIM as the location for the event is inseparable from the connection between culture and nature conservation. Sustainable culture translated into local wisdom has proven to be able to preserve nature from generation to generation. WWF-Indonesia sees the important role of sustainable living culture as a value and lifestyle that should be adopted by all elements of the nation and society.
"Preserving nature can start from a culture of sustainable living and can start from the smallest unit of the nation, namely the family. During this event, Taman Ismail Marzuki will be a place for families to choose green actions that can be done at home. We hope that after coming and seeing 'Persembahan untuk Bumi', people will be moved to join the struggle to make the earth sustainable, and support WWF in any form in campaigning for a green lifestyle," said Devy Suradji, Marketing and Communication Director WWF-Indonesia.
In the people's party, all levels of society can participate free of charge.
