Panda Mobile WWF-Indonesia has often collaborated with AIESEC President University. The collaboration was once again present in a visit to the IHF (Indonesia Heritage Foundation) Character School last Wednesday (10/01). During the visit, one of the Cambodian students from the Exchange Program who is studying in one of the universities in Malaysia shared her knowledge about forests with the 5th grade students. The student named Chyntia was representing the Forest Project of AIESEC President University.
The activity started with an introduction of the WWF-Indonesia's VolunteersPanda Mobile and Cynthia as the representative of AIESEC President University. To boost the spirit of the students before entering the next session, volunteer Panda Mobile invited them to dance "Ram Sam Sam". After that, Dwina Sagitanova, Panda Mobile's volunteer explained about WWF and Earth Hour. Cynthia continued with a presentation on environmental conservation. The presentation, delivered in English, attracted the attention of the students. They gained knowledge about the importance of protecting forests. In addition, Cynthia also explained some of the flora and fauna in Malaysia. In the middle of the presentation, some students asked questions.
Cynthia's presentation on forests was supported by a movie titled "Quartet at the Crossroad". Through this movie, the students got an overview of the animals that are the focus of WWF-Indonesia's conservation. "Why only six animals, Sis?" asked one student.
At the end of the activity, Cynthia and the WWF-Indonesia Mobile Panda Volunteers hoped that the students of IHF Character School could participate in environmental conservation activities for the survival of the next generation. Personally, Chyntia also revealed that she was happy to be able to collaborate with WWF-Indonesia's Panda Mobile. Through this activity, she got a lot of new information related to the environment.
