Vinni Nurizky has an educational background in Marine Science from Diponegoro University. She is also skilled in journalism. In 2015, Vinni was a reporter at one of the national private television stations, ANTV, and became a correspondent for the Central Java region. Vinni gained journalistic experience during her time as a public relations officer at the diving club that introduced her to the world of scientific diving, Marine Diving Club.

In February 2016, Vinni got the opportunity to explore the world of journalism by joining the Public Relations Team, under the Directorate of Communication and Advocacy of WWF-Indonesia. Vinni then joined the Bycatch and Sharks Conservation team in August 2016 with the task of assisting the drafting of a ministerial regulation on shark protection in Indonesia and creating interactive media publications. With a background in communications and marine science, Vinni is currently responsible for designing campaign strategies and materials specific to sharks as WWF-Indonesia's Sharks Conservation Campaigner.
