RESPONSIBLE MARINE TOURISM
In the framework of the National Wildlife Day (HCPSN) which falls every November 5, WWF Indonesia seeks to build awareness of all parties to start implementing sustainable behavior, for the preservation of marine animals and plants in all marine tourism activities. This effort is an invitation to play a real role in protecting natural resources while encouraging the government, business actors, and the community to be more responsible in utilizing, as well as securing marine assets so as to realize a sustainable marine tourism system.< br />
Through the #BeliYangbaik campaign, WWF also invites all parties to be able to make good choices of marine tourism products based on reliable information. For this reason, WWF will introduce several marine tourism guides, including Responsible Marine Activity Series Guide, Turtle and Marine Mammal Observation Guide, Snorkeling and Diving Guide, and Guide to Interacting with Whale Sharks.
