OPENS, 30 PARTICIPANTS TO JOIN SHARK AND RAY SYMPOSIUM
After fifty best abstracts have been selected for presentation, the shark and ray symposium will be held on June 10. Presenters are spread across three themes: Biology, Population and Ecology; Social and Economic; and Management and Conservation. Each theme presents experts in their respective fields.
The symposium held at the IPB International Convetion Center (IICC) is a collaboration between the Subdirectorate of Conservation Areas and Fish Species-Ministry and Marine of Indonesia (KKJI-KKP RI) with WWF-Indonesia. Through the symposium, it is expected to find management solutions and take immediate steps to save sharks and rays in Indonesia.
Not only experts and presenters, the public is also invited to participate. Thirty people are given the opportunity to become participants and are free to choose the theme of their interest. Come on, register yourself and take part in saving Indonesia's sharks and rays. Registration will close on Friday (5/6) or when the quota is met. Participants are also free of charge!
