A LONG-TERM STRATEGY: HOPE FOR RESOLVING THE PERSISTENCE OF PALM OIL IN FOREST AREAS
Strategy Jangka Benah (SJB) is an innovative approach to restore forest ecosystems degraded by monoculture oil palm plantations, by transitioning them to more sustainable agroforestry systems. This infographic explains how SJB places farmers as the main actors in environmental restoration efforts while strengthening their economic resilience. Through this approach, a balance between ecological restoration and improvement of farmers' welfare is expected.
