Jakarta, December 22, 2012. Starting Friday (21/12) yesterday, WWF-Indonesia presented a colossal theatrical performance that tells the story of 50 years of WWF-Indonesia's journey in its conservation efforts in Indonesia. The performance titled ""Golden Path of Love - An Offering of Love for the Earth"" involving 200 performers is packaged in music, lighting, dance, gestures, and impressive clothing.
The show itself is a collaboration of the country's best artistic talents, namely Rani Badri Kalianda as director, Viky Sianipar and Didi AGP for music arrangement and music illustration, Onny Koes Harsono for stage design, Ferry AS for lighting, Budiwahono and Anugrah Widya for video mapping, Joko Histi Maryono and Irlan Lexy for dance stylist, Hendro Revco for hair stylist, Raden Sirait for fashion stylist, and Jose R. Kurniawan as show director.
In her statement to the media crew, Devy Suradji, Marketing and Communication Director WWF-Indonesia revealed that this colossal performance is a form of WWF-Indonesia's gratitude to all Indonesian people. This performance is inspired by WWF-Indonesia's hard work for 50 years in educating, consulting, and implementing environmental conservation policies in Indonesia.
"This performance is a form of WWF-Indonesia's commitment to continue working to preserve the environment. Preserving the environment must not only be realized by going to the field, but also through an art and cultural performance. Because, culture is also a part of the community to continue to protect the environment so that it continues to be sustainable," explained Devy.
Tio Pakusadewo, Edo Kondologit, Ine Febriyanti, Prisilia Nasution, Asty Ananta, and Adinia Wirasti also expressed the same thing. Preserving the environment can be done in our own way, and can be done from many things. "We are very happy to be able to help WWF-Indonesia in this show. This is a form of our commitment to continue supporting so that the environment can continue to be sustainable."
In addition to these well-known actors and actresses, this colossal performance is also supported by a series of other well-known actors and artists, including Rio Febrian, Jamaica Café, Rama Widi, Nungki Kusumastuti, Ubiet, Max5, Topodade, Rama Widi, Smitha Anjani, Andara Rainy, Putri Ayu, Shareena, Anneke Jody, Ratna Riantiarno, Sruti Perwati, Rio Silaen & Voice of Indonesia, Qory Sandioriva, Zivana Letisha, Agni Pratista, Kamidia Radisti, Lucia Zaluska, Kimmy Jayanti, Filantropi, Daniel Chistianto, Duma Riris, and Paula Verhoeven. In addition, the show was also supported by two public figures who are concerned about the environment, namely the Indonesian Minister of Forestry, Zulkifli Hasan, and Inayah Abdurahman Wahid.
Before the performance began, the Minister of Forestry warmed up by reading a poem entitled "The Earth is Our Mother". He delivered it very nicely. The audience's admiration and applause was loud at the end of Zulkifli's performance, who was wearing an ethnic-patterned top specially designed by Raden Sirait.
