CELEBRATING BIODIVERSITY, STRENGTHENING COLLABORATION
As part of a collaborative effort, WWF-Indonesia participated in the commemoration of World Biodiversity Day (Kehati) organized by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia. This activity took place on May 22-23, 2025, at Bale Panjang, Museum Indonesia, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).
In this activity, WWF-Indonesia also enlivened the event by presenting a Fairy Tale session with Uncle Gery. In the interactive and creative storytelling, Uncle Gery introduced various animals that live in the forests of Indonesia. The children who attended listened with enthusiasm, immersed in inspiring stories. Through this fun and educational approach, we hope to foster a sense of love and care for the environment, including the diversity of Indonesia's flora and fauna, from an early age.
On the same occasion, WWF Official Store also opened a booth offering a wide range of official merchandise, such as seed pencils, tumblers, and books. It introduced conservation coffee beans grown by local communities.

Along with the exhibition, WWF-Indonesia also took part in a talk show session entitled Suara Hari Kehati: Saving, Preserving, and Realizing Harmony. In the session, Muhammad Ridha Hakim, Quality & Development Program Director of WWF-Indonesia, said that various platforms have been utilized to voice the importance of collaboration in conservation efforts. He emphasized that the conservation of forests, water, and the survival of animals cannot be done individually, but requires the involvement of many parties so that the balance of nature is maintained.
WWF-Indonesia's presence in the celebration of Kehati Day 2025 reflects the organization's commitment to highlighting environmental issues to the public. WWF-Indonesia plays an active role in efforts to raise public awareness in preserving the environment.
