BESIDES MSC AND ASC, PT SAMUDERA ECO ANUGERAH TARGETS COC STANDARD IN ITS BUSINESS SCHEME

Officially enrolling its company towards the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification in 2015, PT Samudera Eco Anugerah Indonesia is again enrolling in WWF-Indonesia's Seafood Savers membership towards the CoC (Chain of Custody) standard this year.
Since 2015, PT Samudera Eco Anugerah together with WWF-Indonesia has been implementing the capture fisheries improvement program (Fisheries Improvement Program FIP) and aquaculture improvement program (AIP). PT Samudera Eco Anugerah which not only carries out fisheries improvement at the production level, but also at the marketing level is proven by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement as a buyer and wholesaler. The signing took place in Jakarta on December 6, 2017.
PT Samudera Eco Anugerah, known by the trade name Fish 'n Blues, apart from being a manufacturer, also runs its business as an eco-friendly seafood retailer and wholesaler. Based in Bali and Jakarta, the company provides fishery products such as fish, shrimp, crabs and shellfish that are obtained in an environmentally friendly manner and do not damage the ecosystem in nature.
Under the Seafood Savers scheme, Fish'n Blues registered 15 species of products to implement fisheries improvement towards CoC (Custom of Custody) certification. The registered products include yellowfin tuna, grouper, red snapper, white snapper, jenahak, mackerel, baronang, pigeon clam, feather clam, batik clam, propeller clam, mud crab, kuwe and tiger shrimp.
Its seafood products come from fishermen who are committed to sustainable and responsible fishing practices. Fish 'n Blues and WWF-Indonesia believe that by consuming sustainable seafood products, buyers and consumers are participating in preserving Indonesia's ocean and fisheries resources and helping the economy of small-scale fishermen. WWF-Indonesia hopes that the process towards CoC will run smoothly in accordance with the current FIP and AIP programs.
