NEWtrees is one of WWF Indonesia Foundation's programs, to replant trees on critical lands that need reforestation, one of which is in the Ciliwung Watershed. The Ciliwung watershed is a water catchment area that can provide water for more than 20 million people living in DKI Jakarta Province and West Java Province.

Agoda supports ecosystem restoration and reforestation efforts through the NEWTrees Program. This collaborative action between Agoda and WWF Indonesia Foundation is realized by planting 1,110 trees in the upstream of Ciliwung during the period 2021 - 2022, involving the surrounding community through the Baru Asan Hijau Farmer Group. Through the results of the planting, Agoda will award the "Agoda Green Gift" in the form of tree planting which will be given to 300 hotel partners in Indonesia who received the "2020 Gold Circle Award."
