Jakarta, 9 November 2023 – Every human being has the ability to make positive changes even through simple steps, as well as to protect nature and its environment. Understanding this, WWF Indonesia Foundation launched the Kolaborasi Untuk Bumi action as a tribute to November 10th Heroes' Day. 

Collaboration for Earth, supported by Bank BNI, is a momentum to invite and inspire the wider public that everyone can take part to start becoming an Earth hero. This launch is just the first step that is expected to mobilize many individuals and parties to take action as part of the community of Earthlings, who have the responsibility to maintain the sustainability of this Planet.

Located at Café Dewandaru, South Jakarta, WWF Indonesia Foundation introduced a new membership program called "Members of Nature" or MoNa for short. 

MoNa is here to answer the wishes of the wider public and become a forum for Collaboration for Earth action for every individual who is called to support the work of WWF Indonesia Foundation in preserving Indonesia's nature. Also present at the launch was Chelsea Islan, an actress who cares about environmental issues and sustainable development as one of WWF Indonesia's MoNa Warriors.

Through the #10ribuPahlawanBumi campaign, WWF Indonesia Foundation is looking for thousands of people to work together to become heroes for the earth, starting from joining as Members of Nature.

Aditya Bayunanda, CEO of WWF-Indonesia said "Saving Indonesia's nature and biodiversity needs the collaboration of many parties, for that we invite everyone to take part in becoming Heroes for the Earth, actively participating according to their respective strengths such as joining as MoNa. We believe that everyone has the power to create positive change. By joining forces, we strive to realize a world where humans can live in harmony with nature, now and forever." 

Aditya continued, "Collaboration from various lines, such as with Bank BNI, IKYK and public figures is the first step and is expected to inspire many people to fight together to create a livable earth and sustainably managed natural resources for current and future generations".

WWF-Indonesia invites the public and all parties to take part in the Collaboration for Earth. Start with an easy step by joining as MoNa in WWF-Indonesia's Members of Nature program, a program that allows individual participation to start becoming a hero for the earth according to their respective contributions. In fact, starting from only Rp.10,000 per month, you can immediately join the Panda Club and become part of #10ribuPahlawanBumi. 

From this movement, we hope that thousands of other earth heroes will grow and join the thousands of others who have taken action to work towards protecting our Planet Earth. Together we can make a difference.

Chelsea Islan, actress and Member of Nature warrior said, "As individuals, public figures, and MoNa Warriors, we want to set an example that change must start from ourselves. We can act as agents of change". 

Chelsea continued, "I invite as many people as possible to take action, for the sake of the next generation. #10ribuPahlawanBumi is a reminder for us to continue to move together to preserve our nature. WWF-Indonesia is looking for #10ribuPahlawanBumi now and then which hopefully will become millions" Chelsea reminded, "Every action, no matter how small, has an impact. Welcoming the Collaboration for Earth initiative, Bank BNI recognizes the importance of corporations to continue to increase their support. So in the 12th year of its cooperation journey, BNI in collaboration with WWF-Indonesia gave birth to a new innovation in the BNI-WWF-Indonesia credit card through the launch of the new face of the BNI-WWF-Indonesia Affinity credit card, with the slogan A Card for Change, A Hope for Nature. A new face that will provide a more meaningful experience to its customers.

Another supporter is IKYK (I Know You Know), one of the fashion brands from Indonesia also has a vision in line with WWF-Indonesia. One of its passions is to help save the environment through its fashion works. At this event, the exclusive WWF-IndonesiaXIKYK capsule collection was also introduced, which was made from upcycled materials.
