Community Organizer Officer -- Putussibau

WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking the best candidate for the position of Community Organizer Officer. This position will be based in Putussibau, Kalimantan Barat, and report directly to the Sustainable Commodities Coordinator.


The main function of this position is to respond and act as a focal point for WWF Indonesia in implementing projects/programs for developing sustainable palm oil commodities through developing and maintaining relationships with communities and independent oil palm smallholders in accordance with project objectives. 

Requirements for this position are:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Forestry, Agriculture, Development Economics, Geography, and other relevant majors.
  • 3 – 5 years of working experience in community organizing and independent palm oil commodity development
  • Having sufficient knowledge of basic GIS/Spatial mapping is preferred
  • Have English language skills
  • National and international environmental and social safeguards
  • Passion for nature conservation and sustainable development, coupled with a belief in the WWF Mission
  • Adherence to WWF’s values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Courage.
