Marine Tourism Specialist - Jakarta

WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-ID is currently seeking the best candidate for the position of Marine Tourism Specialist. This position will be based in Jakarta, and report directly to the Marine Biodiversity Conservation Program Manager

This position is responsible for developing the Responsible Marine Tourism Program strategy, ensuring the quality of the Responsible Marine Tourism Program implementation, including the management of the Marine Tourism team, donors, and projects related to the Marine Tourism Program, as well as supporting the Program Manager in conducting fundraising to develop the Marine Tourism Program. This position also provides support to the advocacy function and maintains good relations with external parties to support the success of the Responsible Marine Tourism Program. 

Requirements for this position are:

  • Minimum Bachelor (S1) from Tourism program, especially majoring in ecotourism or other relevant majors, master's is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in marine ecotourism, marine resource management, community empowerment.
